The Decompression Yoga –the Vitality Method class, was created by pain management Dr. Voscopoulos MD and Yoga Therapist, Meredith A.Hart. This method is easy to do, relaxing and uses supportive propping (chairs, blocks, blankets). It provides a special focus on freeing and decompression the tight spinal muscles form the tail to top. As a result, it provides a reliable and gentle relief from pain and stress, ushering in and enhancing your natural healing vitality. The Emergency Preparedness Mini-Fair will take place at SVCHC Friday, October 25th from 10am-12pm. This event is a collaboration between SVCHC, Sonoma Sheriff’s Office, NC Prep Culture and Sonoma Valley Fire and Rescue. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about emergency preparedness and will be entered in a drawing to win a emergency starter kit. The Open Enrollment Educational Mini-Fair will take place at SVCHC Friday, October 18th from 10am-12pm. This event is a collaboration between SVCHC, Redwood Community Health Coalition, La Luz Center, Sonoma Valley Hospital, HICAP-Senior Advocacy Services, and Vintage House. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about enrollment and any changes for Open Enrollment 2020 regarding Covered CA, Medicare as well as of Medi-cal.
