The SVCHC takes part in the Binational Health Week Initiative (month of October). Due to the Camp Fire, the fair has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 13, at Altamira Middle School from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This year’s organizing committee includes the SVCHC in partnership with Dragones Latinxs, La Luz Center, Parent University, Sonoma Valley Hospital, Sonoma Valley School District, 4Cs of Sonoma County, the Club at Maxwell, Valley of the Moon Lions Club and Vintage House.

This free event provides health services and information to the community. Local and county organizations will participate and offer a wide range of resources and information to participants including:

  • Health insurance enrollment
  • Emergency preparedness kits
  • Non-metabolic health screenings, including body mass index, glucose, blood pressure and vision screenings
  • Raffles and entertainment
  • Kid’s activities
